I have heard this argument concerning the word Amen and it's origins. The Argument is that the word "Amen" is derived from the Egyptian Pagan god "Amen Ra", god of the sun. How do I refute this argument. Thanks guys.

When you receive in the OF, the priest says "The Body of Christ" to... .
My understanding is that in the EF the priest says the Amen for you whereas in the OF you say responds "Amen." Receiving in the hand or on the tongue makes no difference.

It doesn't make it sound like the amen.
You can take the unquantised midi pattern from the amen and apply it to any drum sound though.
Probably a sample cd in there somewhere.
