You will have to file your taxes, however, even if you live overseas .
Your American citizenship is not related to your taxes so no, you do not have to pay taxes to keep your American citizenship.

While we're on the subject, does anyone know what body wood is used on the American Standards? The Fender page clearly specifies the Specials as all being Alder, and you'd assume that would be the case for the Standards...but it's not listed...not even...
