There was actually no American made Passive Jazz Basses when I bought my bass in 2000, just the Deluxe.

Isn't the Special just MIM parts assembled in the US? Personally I felt that the Standard felt more "solid" and more of a quality bass. Enough of a difference to negate the price difference.
But don't worry about what I think. I'd never poo poo someone...

Otherwise I definitely like what I'm seeing.
I don't know if your involved with it or not, but I've noticed a couple of locations where words/phrases could be changed to sound less threatening/scary to those with less than normal common sense.

if the website serves up "01/26/2011" i'm not sure any browser will convert that to "26/01/2011" No cause on the IE and Firefox version of the same website is displaying correctly, only chrome that doesn... .
