Amp Bass Ohms

Im going to get 2 12" kicker CVRs and a ZX750.1 amp what will bump harded the cvrs at 2 ohms or 4 both lows (bass) and Highs (treble), you need 4 Ohms because it allows you to differentiate between are at 2 Ohms. Subs don't need to be differentiated because they only produce bass. Since it only produces... head and cab.

Is there anything on the market that would make my 8 ohm monitors 4 ohms? Currently, in order to get the 4 ohms I need, I'd have to purchase more speakers and daisy chain them. I am just curious as to why amps and decks have bass enhancement devices if everyone says they are so bad for the amps and subs. Im curious as to what is so bad about these devices?
