WTB: 300 RMS amp @ 2 ohms Hey guys, my friend is actually in need of an amp that puts out around 300 watts at 2 ohms. He's not too picky on what kind of amp or anything, but it needs to be less than $100 for sure, because he doesn't have much to spend...

I'm looking at some amps to power 2 Skar VVX-12s at 2 ohms. Because of the electrical system in my car, I don't think I will be able to run much more than 1200 watts, so I'm just looking for an amp to do 1200 watts at 2 ohms. Came across this

Ull get a much better quality amp, with a budget of 250 i think someone can set you up not at 2 ohms and 250 ,you may need to up your budget a bit .that amp is ehh ok i guess....

I currently run 1 side for subs @ 2 ohms and on side for mains at 4 ohms. I got another pair of 8 ohm subs and am thinking of of moving the mains to a different amp.
If I run 1 4 ohm and 1 8 ohm sub on each side I will get 2.667 ohms...will the amp be...

How about taking your amp and cab to a music store and trying out a different amp with your cab, and then a different cab with your amp.

Picked it up in a pawn shop today. Good score? I think its a bass amp, because it has no reverb or tremolo, and plus, it looks basically like the old Fender Bassman head, but with a master volume.

To run 2 4 ohm cabinets, wire each speaker to the 2 outputs and set amp for 8 ohms.

That Peavey Classic is a 50 watt tube amp and can get really loud but it's not made for bass! And that's what you'....
You just have to be careful not to blow it out with the thundering lows .
It in jam sessions as my bass amp.

Both subs wired in paralell will give the amp a 1 ohm load it is not stable to run.
