A lot of people on here are talking about the fender super champ XD too.
Not sure on prices but check them both out.
I use an mxr micro amp in front for extra drive an awesome amp.
I play an orange tiny terror combo.

I'm thinking about getting a Fender champ but I'm not sure what the difference is between the tweed vs the black tolex versions in the 60s. Also, is there any difference between the blackface and silverface ones?

I have a SF 76 Champ (I am pretty sure, would have to look again to get exact date), but I had heard the Silverface....
Educate.
A Black Face Champ or Vibo Champ, but the 76 Silverface Champ I have really does sound good.

If you want something cheap, vibey, and classic-rock dirty, and you don't want a Champ wattage tube amp, there is no headroom and all it can do is dirt with no clean.

Thats good stuff! Generally I don't use an amp to practice.
Vibro champ or if its late at night I use a V-amp running into my laptop and headphones.
