How to convert mono unbalance 1/4" connection to XLR ? hi guys, I might get a used poweramp for my studio, but it only has XLR inputs. my Roland interface/mixer has only mono 1/4" outs, how do I convert the signal to XLR ?

Are the XLR inputs on your power amp male or female? this transformer is male on the XLR side into the amp for extended periods....
They call this a "matching transformer".

Another dual voice coil to mono amp question? Just wondering what would happen if I ran wires to each 4ohm voice coil of my sub from my mono amp WITHOUT connecting each voice coil to eachother.

Sounds like you'd be making a parallel connection - the result would, or you're wiring them together by connecting them both to the same terminals of a mono amplifier.
Like parallel but done at the amp.

Hi, I've had my GT-10 for a a year or so now and usually use the L-Mono To Amp input and was wondering if it would make any difference if i used the send and returns instead ? Help anyone?

I personally don't recommend you connect the BOSS GT-10 to a guitar amp unless you absolutely love....
Is the amp input into L-Mono? Well, You'll have to try it out to see; I don't think anyone can say yes or no to that question.

Since my amp isn't stable at 2 ohms mono, I'm running 2 channels @ 4ohm, and the - lead ....
Turns out my amp has high on both RCA's to the amp.
All this again is a mono bridge off the rear speakers passing thru a LOC.

The best option is to scrap the Mono amp and the 4 channel for one amp, then you'll....
Also don't forget the Remote (blue) wire for power turn on .
Sure to connect the Sub amp to the RCA that say rear for fading reasons.

That's OK because the "tip" of a mono headphone plug is the audio "hot" connection, and when partiallyI have a Sigtronics SPA-4S in my spam can that has no issues with my Stereo set and my kids mono a mono set is plugged ....

Help, I only can get mono recording The only jack I can plug into and get good input levels is the microphone jack. This is creating a mono recording. On a song where the music travels right to left, the playback sound fades in and out of the middle.

Mic inputs are always mono even though they are tip - ring - sleeve, Office Depot, etc.
Be to use the line level input.

From the left pre-out of the Yamaha I split that with Y cable and connect them to the input 1 & 2 of Amp the....
And connect them to the input 1 & 2 of Amp A and this amp will be used for the Highs.

For some reason my amp goes back and forth between active and protect for about 10 seconds after turning on. Any ideas? Thanks
BTW, it's a 500 watt boston acoustics mono amp. Other than this strange issue it seems to be a really quality unit.

Turns out his positive connection had some loose under the hood so when he turned....
My buddy had an AP1500 do that.
Could be the relay inside the amps unhook your speakers from the amp and see if it still happens.
Thing i would check.
