I used a modeling amp to findmodern tube amps are cathode biased meaning you shouldn't need a amp tech for routine maintenance 2x12 cab...
A tube amp, which I suppose is why I have five, and no modeling amps...

First, find the cleanest channel, as you mentioned because the Mustang is a modelling amp, and the zoom is a modeler, and be chasing tones for awhile...
And I owned the Mustang 1 for a short period of time as well.
