Just heard of the sad passing of Jim Marshall the man behind Marshall guitar amplifiers .
Anyone who has been involved with guitar amplifiers will know too well what affect Jim and his lads had on the UK guitar amplifiers and rock n roll in the 60...

I have a great memory of my first job building Roost valve guitar amplifiers in the art of Marshall Guitar amplifier servicing and how loud these amplifiers really are.

Why are ML so hard on amplifiers?? Hi all,
This may seem like a very stupid question, but why are ML so hard on amps. Are all ML hard to drive!? Is it safe to assume that those that have an active woofer are easier to drive as the amp only has to feed...

For the past month we have been shipping upgraded models of all our Insight and Fet Valve Ultra power amplifiers. The back labels on the newest versions will say "Insight+" or "Ultra+".
The upgrades are not earthshaking, but are obviously nicer overall...
