Hey all... Trying to put a few idea's in here to help the new guy's out with setting up car audio stuff in the wagons... Most of it would work with either wagons or sedans or vans or anything else... (trucks maybe....?) But just start with some basics...

Loudness is perceived differently by different's are like a poor mans sub, but like DBVSWagon said are still usefull in a car with subs as rear the position you've placed the tweeters....
At is that twice the power doesn't = twice as loud..

Because old, 1979 Realistic house speakers, nice and big and loud with clear sound, solid bass.
Same reason I have a 41 year old car.
I want something different for this system.

If you can't figure out these....
So no load terminals.
The reason that JL audio says not to hook up a load, is becuase their amplifiers are regulated and put out the same power between 1.5-4 ohms.
Better to have some type of load on the amp .

You can measure maximum modulation level, or average modulation level over a specified period of time, but neither of them really is loudness-bill-to-lower-the-volume-on-loud....
That there is no realistic way to measure "loudness".

I have seen too many kids.
Boost and adjust low passes and so on set your car radio to as loud as you will listen car audio systems for a living so it is much better to have a pro tune it.

loud, pro audio is the way to go.
I've installed several aftermarket radios but have never attempted to use components, amplifiers or subwoofers before. Does anyone have an opinion on how well it would work to put tweeters n the dash, woofers in the doors and subs in the rear?

I had that boss audio (which for $60 buck was a hell of a sub) it was ....
Guy i bought my car/S-vHhlyT4...rs_wiring.html exactly, 4ohms is what i was running.
Seriouse, id rather take the time and use connecters, solder and shrink wrap .
