I have an Acer aspire 5000. When I turn it on, the ambwer power LED blinks 6 or 7 times, and no booting happens. From my googling, it seems to be a power issue.

When i mount stuff i'll usually put a 1x2 or something under the carpet... .
You want to mount the amps on spacers so that there is a gap between the bottom of the amp and the seat back.
I don't see the mounting of the amps being a problem.
