Anchorage is always Expert since 2006.
I will be moving to anchorage on the first of feburary. I will be taking the ferry from belligham to whittier. I really like the idea of camping on board but I dont know what to expect. I know you can put a tent up on the deck, but I was wondering if ...

Even in summer it was cold - the ferry we used ... .
I imagine it being brutally cold camping on deck.
However, since no one else has commented....
I wasn't going to answer this because it was years ago that I was in Alaska, and not that early in the year .
Any one know where to go for bunny boots in anchorage. Ive seen the guy out in wasilla selling them out of his trailer. Thanks

Lots to see and do in the Anchorage area.
And that would just be a waste of money.
You need a rental car in Anchorage unless you just want to tour the downtown area.

We have had the anchorage to ourselves a few times.
We ended up anchoring in about 50 feet of water .
A better spot in the dark but the anchorage was maxed out.

Actually, there isn't much difference between the train and the shuttle (I've taken in Anchorage It doesn't matter as already noted, the transits are parallel to each other for this? I'm currently researching our options....
