In your honest opinion, would the blood angels captain be worth his points if he had red thirst special rule, access to glaive encarmine and artificer armour, and could be seconded to death company with black rage special rule at a cost.

I've been playing Blood Angels for a while and have always thought of them being purely useful as assault deep striking troops, I mean you can deep strike Land Raiders for christs sake, but now i'm building up a more mechanized force utilising the cheaper...

I disagree with most things I've seen hazmiter say about Blood Angels and Grey Knights, pretty much of sanguinius, blood lance, drop pod.

I'm new to these forums and also new to mechanized Blood Angels (i've always used blood angels as a purely deep strikeable force before) so any help would be greatly appreciated. This army list here would fit the best into my playstyle. I'm not entirely...

I'm not too sure where your points went to be honest, this list is pretty small for 1.... .
Your antitank is seriously lacking and your scoring units are pretty few .
Don't expect to get a perfect list by just talking, you will need to playtest, refine etc .

So I haven't played Blood Angels with the latest codex but I've had a bunch of BA sprues/models sitting around so thought I would go through my bits box and see what I could come up with.

So... I've played a few games with my Blood Angel force, and Fred's now been playing them for a few games as well. Over this time we've noticed some distinct issues with the list that bug both of us...

I have heard that devastators for the Blood Angels are nice and cheap so those might be a good of the Blood Angels list we've been trying to work with so far.
They are fluffy.
