Sample Chatter Excerpts
Why do you think there is so much deep-seated anger in so many people?
I think it's because what made them feel anger in the first place and thereafter, just gets stuffed. Especially when it's a continuous situation, or something they have little or next to no control over. For some, they usually take steps to gain that control back.

How is anger a sin?
I know a lot about the Seven Deadly Sins, but what I do not understand is why Anger is one of them. Anger is listed as the most dangerous of the 7 because it is the sin that leads people to kill, but it is also a perfectly natural human emotion. Like it or not, we all feel anger when circumstances favor it. By definition it is an emotion, whereas things like Lust, Gluttony, Sloth, Pride, Greed, and Envy are all based on personal issues and habits. You don't get angry out of habit, and I don't want to meet the guy who does. The Bible tells us to avoid sins, but how can we avoid one if it is an emotion as opposed to an action?

What's the funniest thing you've ever heard somebody say out of anger?
I rowed competitively mainly in Florida, and that certainly did not help. Our unisuits were navy, and in the sun they would turn into easy-bake ovens for our nutsacks.

Do ALL Truthers have anger management issues?
Judging from the way they are constantly changing subjects, my initial guess would be ADD. Then you see why they change the subject and you realize that they are just trying to not answer the question.

SO what ARE the appropriate ways to show anger?
I am definitely not an expert but I jut try and help my son by helping him to label his feelings - you are mad because xyz - you are frustrated because it is very hard to tie your shoes, etc. I encourage him to talk about it and then try to figure out what to do. If you are frustrated trying to tie your shoes, you can ask mommy to shoe you how again. So and so won't share now, let's find something else to play with. I think we need to help them learn to talk it out because it's a lifelong process for us all. I really don't see the harm in exercise as long as you talk too...
