I need help with a 3 1/2 year old submissive yet alpha-male dog. I'm in quite a dilemma. I love my Mini Dachshund (Armstrong), but he has to be the most stubborn dog I've ever come across. I'm a college student that lives in an apartment in a major city...

My yard is about 3/4 acre and fenced for the dogs. The only time they get out of the yard is every night when I go down to the barn to hay the horses and the dogs come down with me. They have about 20 minutes before they come in and get their dinner.

Mine are happiest when I'm outside with them but then my dogs are not outside 24/7 either they are social animals....
