Most browsers (and probably their server) will just timeout after a bit .
No consequences other than spinning for a bit.

I've used Sun's VirtualBox for this and it is honestly the best anti-malware tool.
A decent firewall (like AVG) Spybot search and destroy is really good for protecting against infection compromised.

When I tried to 'forward' a domain to a hosting of another, I found that Google advertising somewhat objects to such a manner.
Why would this be?
I have what I call a 'website pair'. One with a .com for computer devices and a .mobi for mobile devices....
