AVG anti-virus, just don't load the link-scanner on a slow pc/execute....
Malwarebytes anti-malware remover.
Too much

I mostly use free security solutions to protect my home PC, but I wonder if I would get better protection from a paid solution.
I prefer the free software, since I can have multiple applications protecting against different threats.
With paid software...

Alternative for spyware/adware is Spybot and Malwarebytes

I have a windows machine and I run AVG free antivirus, windows defender and firewall, spybot, outpost firewall, and prevx. Just checking because I think I might have turned something up. Thanks for any help.

Paid would still be Comodo but with Nod32 AVG
and for malware/spyware I use Spybot computer security....
It also important to keep your anti-virus, anti-spyware and other security software updated too and Avira AVG.
