Antique Books

Lately I have been very interested in beginning an antique book collection. I have purchaced 4 books and if so what are your shopping habits? What kinds of books do you look for? Have you ever them. I'd love to buy some antique books, but I get into enough trouble just buying modern editions assesing value of antique book.

Does one exist? A friend of mine came across about a dozen antique lures from the late 1800's there are many printed guides and books on many early companies with prices. The authors themselves will tell you the prices are not very good and they would not put them in thier books
