What furniture store doesn't suck?
We couldn't find much in the way of well made furniture, so we went with a shop that makes it themselves. We have started to replace our cheap crap with custom made, for a decent price. All hardwood, fantastic construction, any finish we want.

Is Ethan Allan good furniture?
The older stuff was probably made of real wood so it is just fine. I wouldn't look my nose down at you for having that table in your kitchen.

Do furniture sliders really work?
I used to keep my big TV armoire on a set of the big sliders. Once I got it moving across the carpet, I could move it myself. Helps for that "change the furniture" urge I get now and then.

Where do I find good inexpensive furniture?
I know that we used to have a few decorating threads, but I can't seem to locate them. Right now I'm in the market to buy a new dining room table set. I don't like anything at Pottery Barn or Crate and Barrel, and Room and Board is too expensive. I checked out RC Willey - nothing good there either. Is there a hip, reasonably priced furniture store that I'm just not aware of?

Living room furniture style?
Thank you, I will try to post some pictures soon. They pretty much have everything done except some trim, stair rail, some electrical and the carpet. We chose a light beige-it's called Dusty Trail from Pittsburgh Paints and I really am happy with it.
