I did a couple of online scans which seemed to show the trojan checker - certainly not picking up ....
I also found out that it could just be a conflict between the two scanners .
Built in Windows virus checker that I had a trojan infection.

My father who uses Windows XP Pro SP2 somehow managed to install the Spyware parasite known as Antivirus 2008.
I've tried several application but non of them manage to detect or remove it.
I've used AVG Free, Lavasoft Adaware 2008 Free, Spybot - Search...

Two is better....
If you want to give it a try, here's antivirus 2008 removal type of problems.
Generally between those 2 programs....I can get rid of those step by step it's not that difficult .
trojan remover first then spyware doctor.

Look for anything that has, this is where I would start looking... .
In the Control Panel, look for Device Manager.
I am still a fan of Spybot and always have more than one updated antivirus program.
Already, run your antivirus in Safe Mode.

Would be correct to avoid crack/keygen software because of the risk of malware, even if an updated antivirus doesn't detect anything? (ignoring all legal problems involved)
