Got this email from AOL saying they are boosting my broadband speed to 24Mbps.
Is it for real?
I turned my router off and on as they say but still getting between 7 and 8 Mbps (on up to 8Mbps).

As the OP has a calls package with AOL, she cannot make calls via BT (AOL use BTW's WCLI).
I've not got AOL but use Primus and I just prefix the number being called by 1280 to make the call go via BT.
Per month charge by BT.

The AOL client must be set to "Broadband connection" or "Broadband, how are you trying to access AOL, via AOL's software? Or through a normal web browser as listed above....
