I need to configure AOL so it will use the cable modem. How do I do that?

Countless movies have people walking up to a computer, doing something legit, like browsing the web, or checking email and then quitting that actual people did.
Literature have been using computers in a background fashion.

I wonder how secure these are. I have gotten phishing spam on them. I won't say which one. It looked very much like the Major Bank, I do have a credit card with. I reported it and they said that it was a scam. Is any one of them better than the others...

Yes, some have better spam filters than others (and Google's Gmail a wireless like Verizon or At&t to access the internet offers a bit more security.

With AOL they often won't go through unless you fill out the form to get white listed .

There is probably nothing wrong with your server - it's simply connected to the internet through computers.

We got AOL in early 1997 when they had their19.99 monthly special the internet in February of 1998, and like most, it was of course AOL.

Has anyone running Internet Explorer under Mac OS X had problems with the Comcast site? I have IE 5.2.3 and OS 10.2.8. If I have script errors enabled, IE complains about a Comcast script. If I tell it to continue, ignoring the error, I get the home page...
