The toolbar should be gone after you restart your browser... .
Easy If you're using Panel -> Add or Remove Programs, search for AOL Toolbar and click to uninstall.
It will do it from there.
Click on the help option and then click Uninstall.

Hey folks, I ain't real computer savvy but I have a question. I hate AOL but I have all my favorites and addresses on there and I'm afraid if I cancel them, I'll lose all my info. Is there any way I can get rid of AOL and keep my favorites and address...

Which version of AOL do you have? That 9.0 top speed thing hmm I'll have....
Have to remove aol completey (almost impossible ) and if that doesnt work you should be able all at once regardless, but from the sounds of it thats your best bet.

I have adapted the holy grail three column layout into my site and it works great, except in AOL. I can easily use JavaScript to detect AOL and write new CSS styles after the rest have been evaluated, using document.write(' ');, but even with that freedom...

I want to import address book of users from their gmail/hotmail/yahoo and aol address books. I am looking for a gem/plugin in rails which can help me do this. Any help is appreciated.

You should be able to find a Gem for at least any of the providers you listed in your question .

None worked, found an easy solution by accident!
Click on "Settings" from AOL.

In fact, it looks like my competitors who are in the top positions do *not* show on AOL.
All my adwords ads show on AOL, and their ranking is nowhere near the top position.

I have aol and I have deleted the temp files and cookies and restarted and nothing works.
This is not supported, or damaged or something like there is not a graphics converter .

We have Microsoft Standard Exchange 2007. Sometime recently we have suddenly lost the ability to receive emails from AOL. As far as I can tell, we are receiving all other email nomrally.
The only anti-spam solution we use is a blocklist from zen.spamhaus...

They might have blocked you network that starts spamming, this not... .
It will also help to note what errors are aol memebers getting when sending to yourFirst goto AOL's postmaster tools and sine up for a feedback loop.
