Help!!!
I am using Mail with no problems until today. All of a sudden when I hit 'send' the mail is going to the 'OUT' box and staying there. When I use AOL the mail goes out normally. Any ideas?

When in the gallery and trying to upload pictures to picasa the upload gives a gives a failed to retrieve account information error and will not upload. I do have my picasa account synced and it does show all my albums in picasa correctly in the gallery...

To work around this you understand how a Google....
Keep in mind the corporate email client doest support labels, archiving, etc...
And then when I hit upload anyways, it gives the message "Failed to retrieve account information."
Any help.

I use Mail on my OS 10.2 iMac. All of a sudden, it won't send messages. It receives messages. It just won't send messages.
I had not changed any settings.
I called Comcast for support but they couldn't help me and suggested switching to Outlook Express...

Well I have to say that I read some of the topics from them .
Comcast does not offer support yet I can receive all my mail and gave up and then started using my AOL acct for mail.
I have also changed no settings.

Well folks, Time to switch to Verizon DSL.
All of the sudden, out of nowhere, I started having problems with mail.app in OS X (10.2.8). My email would not download. It would just say, preparing to retrieve messages...

No Mac support, eh? well having this issue? Comcast supports Macs and Mac Mail and while not all Comcast support people know what good ....
And have jsut downloaded the new Jaguar update (10.3.30, and the mail is fine.

However, sometimes people or companies send me e-mails and I will receive them on my iPhone or Outlook (if I open Outlook that is - I prefer Mac Mail), but they will not appear...

Make sure that you are using IMAP instead of POP3 .
On Outlook and the iPhone but delayed on Mac Mail.

My provider, Time Warner Cable, said they only support POP for mail accounts, so provider, Time Warner....
To retrieve mail and everybody that ever wrote a POP email client, even Apple, arrogantly presumed with a gmail account.

I am able to send mail from Mail, but only if I use my AOL screen name
broadband.
They have each as myscreenname@aol.com.
I've talked to support people at AOL and also at AIT.
To receive, but not send mail.
