I was diagnosed with Parkinson's about two years ago. About four months ago, I started passing out randomly, while driving etc. Luckily, I didn't have any accidents and the blackouts were very short. I was taking mirapex for Parkinson's at that point....

I think it is more likely that untreated sleep apnea causes Parkinson's disease.

As far as I know I don't have Sleep Apnea.

I have NOT been checked for Sleep Apnea,
only for Epilepsy which had been confirmed.
I know some people have both and
some don't.

Lovebingamum? My DH has sleep apnea, once he got the CPAP it is awesome for all of us! It took maybe 2-3 for Sleep Disorders as there are obviously a few members affected by it.

My partner has sleep apnea and shw has this mask to wear which is really noisy and i cant even get to sleep at night!!! aaaarrggghhhh... it so annoying as i hardly get to sleep.. anyone have any advice to help me

Half the group were given daily 15 to 30 minute lessons, but hopefully you can get the machine to work with you .

I started out with a pulmonologist. After the first study and several months of no success, he sent me to a "sleep specialist" who switched me from a CPAP to a BIPAP. That didn't work. The last time I was in his office and told him that wasn't working...
