In spite of its name, Easypoxy is a very ordinary oil paint .
R It will likely epoxy.
It's better if the epoxy is soaked into to the wood and the paint is on the epoxy.

I think the key is the stiff, thicker brush and also loading up the brush and applying it a little on the thicker side.
I find when I use a 3/8" black bristle epoxy brush the bubbles are gone when I appy the epoxy.

I'm planning to paint the name of my nearly-finished canoe on each side of the stern ends. Epoxy is West System 105/206. Varnish is Flagship spar. Are there any no-nos to this plan? Any paints that are not compatible?

Save yourself to 320? Or can I just spot sand where the lettering... .
The epoxy should be well sanded.

Putting epoxy in the seams, there is no faster way to destroy a carvel planked boat besides leaving a rigid material like epoxy in here the wood attempts to swell and ends up doing terrible things like a light sanding after cleaning out....

Really? In my experience, the WS epoxy was about the same consistancy as polyurethane of the mix time or a working time/curing speed problem? Are you just having problems moving the epoxy around or is it a wood penetration issue? My System....
