I got 6 penguin tetras this week,in my 30*15*12cm planted tank.2day i observed small white spots in their tail portions.i am dosing sera ferts and running diy co2.

Dont have....
Keep the water very aerated too.
Add some rock salt to avoid further bacterial attacks and wait up .
Normally Meth Blue helped me a lot in treating fin rots .
First of all remove all the fishes from the planted tank and keep in a different tank .

Hi friends,
Please help me. Today in the afternoon I have found some red patches in one of my Cichlid.The fish is not moving, stay at the corner of the tank.
What can I do?

From the pic it is clear that the fish is not doing well...the picture is very hazy to notice the spots..a clearer picture would be better to judge the problem...i am sure the experts would help u out figuring the problem... .

2.a bare bottom tiny tank with no plants,rocks, no neighbor to flare at,4-5 water changes a year,admit it... .

Hello guys
Right now i am using lab grade salts of KNO3,K2SO4 and KH2PO4 as Macro ferts.
Are the commercial Macro ferts are more effective than these lab grade salts or equivalent?
If some of them are better could anyone suggest me some good Macro products...

They all used ....
Rohan,i hope you must went through posts of gecho,tirtha da,jayo da or souvik's planted tank .
You should try them before going into commercial ferts.
When I tried to make a planted tank, people told me DIY macros give very good results .
