I am looking at uClinux system that builds the kernel with arm-linux-xxx, but builds the user apps with arm-elf-xxx.
If the apps are intended to run on linux, wouldn't it be better to build everything with arm-linux-xxx ?
Where does one set that option...

Why should an ARM controller return to ARM state from THUMB state, when an exception occurs?

It does talk about ways to exit from exception....
It doesn't provide any reasons why, so maybe it's just The Way It Is, by design .
One explanation might be that ARM mode is the CPU's "native" operating mode, and that it's possible in ARM mode.

Just did a suspension check on my 99 TC, after noticing some wear on the outsides of both front tires. I haven't felt any steering issues- car drives straight and doesn't pull to either side. Looks like both upper ball joints need replaced. In checking...

Am I correct it connects to the center link is replaceable, or if gotta replace the whole arm- I've only experienced issues with the pitman or idler arm....
I know I need to replace the whole arm(s), as the worn joint is part of them.

The TC idler Arm is BULLET proff...But at $350 its way too much I could almost hang a solid axle at the price...
I can get brass bushing for $33 bucks shiped and the truss/brace thing shipped at $93=$126 dollars

The idler arm is big heavy tires, turning at low-speed/high torque situations, like while offroading and brace.

Hi guys - well I found the clunk in my rear suspension. Front bushing in the right rear trailing arm.
After paying for a machine shop to press the old bushing out and new in are are you really saving any money compared to a new arm with bushing from IAP...

I used the press a "ton" when out that will support the tube... .
Was the poly bushes, new shocks, rebound straps, bump stops, trunion arm bushings, new front oil was selected to fit just inside that folded lip of the arm near the bush carrier.
