t's heavy and beautifully crafted... weighs 7 lbs and measures approx 6' height x approx 10" across. Bronze you think? I think too heavy for brass, has a great patina

Does anyone know the true meaning of "arts and crafts cottage/home?" I know what the arts and crafts movement was but I keep seeing new and old houses with this description and it does not seem to be the same as the movement. Thanks for your answers!!...

How do my fellow time travellers view furniture of the Arts & Crafts period with regards to its steampunkness?
Stickley starts making his furniture around 1900 so it fits period wise, yet it seems so different. It certainly isn't Victorian.

Could you all share any arts and crafts that you do with LOs please? DSs are 3.5 and 1.5. I am not great at doing arts and crafts with them. Painting lasts about 10 minutes max because DS2 just ends up throwing stuff everywhere or painting the walls. ...
