Do you consider 3D modeling to be closer to sculpture or visual arts? Just curious as to what others think.

I'd consider 3D modeling a purely visual art what you mean by visual....
Creative geometry.
Granted there's a strong tactile element any other art form, though.
Huh? I've always considered sculpture to be a visual art.
