A sport a man uses his art to forge....
That doesn't mean that his martial art is better- only that it is better at what it is designed to do.
Be more likely to win because that is the kind of fight his martial art has been designed for.

I got a black belt in Tae Kwan Do, practiced Brazilian Ju Jitsui and Muay Thai, went to a MMA themed school for awhile and did ok in the practice matches.
However due to joint damage and gas mileage, I had to drop out.

Weapons (the only other martial art available in my area) it was all standing there punching the air.
Of the Philippine MA's would be the most effective, followed by any traditional art that uses weapons.
