I'm doing a research paper on the history of Chinese martial arts, from the beginning to more recent times. Academic sources(has to have a name attached) are required. I've already found a few, but I need more.
What I really could use is some archeology...

Chinese arts have a long history and tend to be very something as a "art" with lots of distinct forms and techniques, then any number of Chinese systems.
Rather depends on what you're looking for.

A long time ago, I think back in 2003, Richard P. Gabriel proposed that universities should offer a Master of Fine Arts in Software .
Is there any university that has adopted this proposal and is offering this degree? I would also like to hear your opinion...

Only, some martial arts lean toward this more than others.
Some do it for the art.
Some do it for 2 years and then stop.
They think it will help them fight.
