We are planning on travelling to Aruba next January and looking for reasonably priced accommodation, preferably a small hotel. Lovely beach, walking distance to restaurants/bars etc but not manic busy. Eagle Beach looks like it might be the place for ...

Prefer to be somewhere quaint and more scenic! The only areas of Aruba that have quite of a walk to downtown from here but...it can be done.
No high rise.

I understand why people are drawn to Aruba. I really wanted to love Aruba. Beaches are beautiful. Rocks and cliffs were beautiful and picturesque. Horseback riding with Rancho La Ponderosa was amazing. Parasailing was really fun. Sunset cruise was nice...

Not sure what to expect. I desperately want to love Aruba but I have my doubts. Kind of got roped into going with some friends. Staying at the Marriott Surf Club and I'm not into waiting in line for a palapa or pool chair tag....not my idea of a vacation...

You will enjoy eating out....
It is also safe to go out at night in Aruba, cabs are easy to get or rent a car.
We have been to Aruba twice and there is no shortage of good restaurants.
It comes from Argentina.
Aruba has the best beef.

We r leaving for Aruba in 2 weeks in old cloths, You WILL get dirty.
Good service, reliable.
