Why are Communists ashamed of being called Communist? They always make up new terms like "Marxist", "Maoist", "Socialist", etc, you'll hear the yuppies call themselves "Anarcho-socialists" but they avoid the "C" word like the plague, are they ashamed ...

For instance Maoist tend to focus more on communism and the countryside (with still an important part of the industry) while Marsist-Leninist tends to focus more on the industry .
Well Communist is like a big word gathering several sub-ideologies .
