So,I'd say its not enough.You also need to travel between these countries,travel....
Ah ok parts...and nowhere near enough in Singapore or Japan.
Presumably you'll have a flight out Singapore? That should suffice as onward travel proof.

I'd go to South East Asia when I'm young as I'm • Via rail across Canada •*Ride....
So I've specifically left those off the bucket list till I'm older and wealthier .
Same with africa, most of europe, china, antartica, etc.
Then backpacking.

If you want to really travel, your best bet is probably to save up and do a big backpacking trip to spend three days....
Many of the traveling-types save up money over the course of the year and then travel all over Asia.
Just wondering if there are any good placement agencies that hire for Asia as i'll be travelling with a friend. We figure this would be our best shot. Opinions?
