The error message is treating @Assisted as a normal binding that, it seems like if you're....
But since Guice cannot create an instance of SimpleCommand itself (it needs the assisted parameter provided to the factory), the bind is invalid.

What would help, is hardware-assisted READ barriers which take away the need be hardware assisted write barriers for keeping track of remembered sets.
Bottlenecks to GC.
