I'm not entirely sure how unlocking works, but I just got a Athlon II X3 435 today and it apparently can be unlocked to have another core (It apparently turns it into a Phenom II X4 B35?).
I'm just wondering it it's worth switching over to this other ...

Here's a dirty machine, with an nForce 2 chipset, which as all nForce 2 owners know, was tossed to the curb in Vista, also a driver ....
There are no Vista drivers for nForce 2 chipsets, meaning it's a "driver orphan".

Any ideas what this would be? Happens randomly while playing Starcraft 2 (on cutscenes/cinematics, never during gameplay)Empire Total War, and Skyrim.

Hi everyone.
I am having some trouble with my computer crashing about every 2 days or so. I get a blue screen error that does a physical memory dump from what I could read when the error came up. It isnt up for long so I couldnt tell you more on the error...

Ive updated all the drivers....
You will do 2 tests:
- Use Vista disk to start the setup, and go in the repair panel.
1- Open the Start Menu and right click, it could be your RAM .
When your system works and you are in Vista.
And restarts.

Secondly, Vista is outright slower than XP which was particularly....
It was an annoyance, that XP didn't have.
The first was UAC.
There were several significant issues.
UAC was tweaked in SP1.
I think the service packs for Vista helped a lot.
