2010 CX-9 First oil change Got a leftover 2010 CX-9 this spring and decided to do the first oil change at about 2000 miles.
As I've read on these forums it was the hardest filter removal I've ever done. Took me an hour to get it off. Broke my filter wrench...

No matter what kind of oil and filter you use, at a minimum I'd stick with Mazda's oil change what kind of oil and filter you use, at a minimum I'd stick with Mazda's oil change interval scenario....

Cool, thanks! Well I did the entire oil change.
The oil filter? Doesn't it drain on the skid plate? just put a rag under the filter,not much comes out.

Drain plug is located under the engine and behind bolt on the side is the filter, clean that off.

Another may have been with a quart of oil....
You might look at hrs of operation, cost, how they disposed of oil, how many am oil change while 2nd might want 1-2 in afternoon, while first after 3.
Is cheepest due to filter.

Just changed the oil in mine for the first time this morning at 3500 miles since we are leaving on a 2000 mile trip on Sunday. I try not to run over 5000 even if the change oil light hasn't come on yet.

Take it to an ATV service centre / dealer
a car garage won't have a filter quads
Rough guess of cost at that mileage , oil + filter £30, + 1hr labour to service and check to a garage to be serviced oil....

I changed my oil today so while I was doing it I lost the original album but made this video anyway to replace it.

Any ideas does not....
I am using the Fram filter and Ams oil.
I can see no visible signs of leaking anywhere.
I do miles.
To simply purchase oil and a filter and do the change than to spend the $$ on an Blackstone test.

I've put minimum maintenance into the ATV ( maybe 2 oil....
changed the battery once after 10 years change the oil yearly and clean the air filter no other problems) and after a few repairs is still running great.
