I used ATX supply for electronic converter to generate higher voltage.
Eventually I patched the converter, and reached a limit, the diode + MOSFET both latched.

Over here, one can pick up a used/junked ATX supply for little-to-nothing.
I'm in the States, and have no idea what ATX power supplies might cost where you are.

Today the Power Supply of my Fuel died. I found this page http://www.nekochan.net/wiki/Fuel_PSU_repair , but I cannot build the converter cables myself.

With an ATX, it might not need that additional support.
For the right mount mount at the rear of the transmission .
You should be able to use the stock Caravan ATX mount.
Is the same as the SRT-4.
