Hi guys,
I recently got a car and obviously planned on getting some good audio in there. It's a Fiat Punto (small car) and the only stock speakers are two small dashboard speakers right beneath the windshield, so I bought the following and installed it...

That kinda limits....
It seems that there are only fullrange speakers in that size, I can't find any midbass speakers at 3.5 inch...
I checked and it's a 3.5 inch 2-way 10watts pioneer speaker in the dashboard, seems quite a common size.

Ok so pro audio is louder cleaner and less expensive so why are they not more widely used. What gives ?

I'm running a Shiva X2 which is USUALLY used in home audio....
Look at the fs (resonant frequency spec) of pro speakers, where a car audio sub would speakers will use "car audio" speakers.
To sound good.

If you really want a "badazz....
You can do it with an AVR as long as the speaker impedance isn't too low.
It's not practical to use car amplifiers in the house because you need too large a 12 volt power supply.
