I'm using Business Objects XI 3.1 and have a question regarding auditing.
On my BO server, there are some crystal, webi and deski reports which are scheduled to run daily,weekly,monthly basis and their outputs are saved either in Excel or PDF ...

In the Business the "Auditing is Enabled" ....
In your statement it appears you have only enabled auditing on the "Central Management Server".
Auditing has to be enabled on each server you wish to get auditing information from.

We are building BO XI 4 environment with oracle as a repository and audit database.
Can any one provide me audit universe and reports for BO XI 4 with oracle DB.

Hi,
I have enabled Auditing but nothing is getting written into it.
I can see under CMS>Settings> Auditing is Enabled and when I see the default folder /app/boe/bobje/Data/Auditing I can see the TXT files getting created but with 0KB.
Why nothing...

First time poster long time reader.
Our Enviroment appears to be not auditing events. The audit tick box is selected on CMS and Webi Processing servers and the TXT files are appearing in the Auditing Directory (dating back to the build date last year...

In XI 3.1, audit events/data is stored in local temp files in system and CMS writes the data in Auditing database later.

I'm currently working on a cut down version of BO XI R3.1.
We've just bought a license key to 'upgrade' us to the Pro version. Essentially this will release Auditing and Scheduling functionality to us. We don't have the luxury of a development environment...
