Hey Bogleheads, so I have about 4 years remaining on 1.99% Auto loan. Because of a year-end bonus, I have ample cash available to pay it off - but I'm not sure if that is the best financial move.
Would you pay off such a low interest rate or let it ride...

OTOH, I have a 0% auto loan and would heaven.
Of a cash position to pad your stash, I'd consider paying it off .

Credit Unions have the best rates most of the timeCredit Unions are a good place to secure a car loan.
Then you can apply for a loan there.

Your best option is going to be a credit union though.
Other than that maybe.
Probably pay a higher APR but you should be able to get a loan from someone.

I did not end up using limit.
I had a Cap One Blank Check Auto Loan when I purchased my car in 2004.
