Well , if you have a text an you nave a new-line, it means , that you have began a new paragraph - a <p> tag .
White-space: pre;
or
white-space: pre-wrap;
See the specs.
White-space: pre;
this makes it just like a <pre> element.

I have a big paragraph of text that is divided into subparagraphs with <br> 's:
<p> Blah blah blah. <br/> Blah blah blah. Blah blah blah. Blah blah blah. <br/> Blah blah blah. </p>

You can change the line spacing, but that will affect all lines .
Line breaks in addition to the auto-wrap ones, not subparagraphs.

So I know how to replace newlines in my C# code. But replacing a newline for a <br /> tag isn't always very correct.

Make sure you initialize $fn before[$i]['long'] = '$file'<br ....
The code in the inner loop to this:
if($file != "." ) { echo "\$fn[\$i]['long'] = '$file'<br /> }
(You can remove the $i, because php auto increments arrays).

So i installed my BR off road dp yesterday and surprising enough I didnt throw a code? I did not have the tune from BR reflashed yet. BTW, this dp is pretty sick, very nice quality, house a great sound to it and you can really feel the power in the high...

Already twice since I installed the BR downpipe and I've seen other thread with people having the same the code and keep an eye on my AFR gauge but I'll try to contact BR if this happens to often.
