Planning to get a used or new car in the next month. Does anyone used other auto financing places other then the dealerships?
I have read carbuytips.com and they suggested Capital One Auto Finance, Up2Drive.com, and myautoloan.com not sure...

Range is, ask the loan officer point blank what they can do for you with $X income / $X bills help, get them to preapprove your loan (this will be a hard inq) and walk into the dealership with a letter from the bank.

Hey Bogleheads, so I have about 4 years remaining on 1.99% Auto loan. Because of a year-end bonus, I have ample cash available to pay it off - but I'm not sure if that is the best financial move.

Get something more reliable, think honda/toyota. you are too tight to able to afford the high maintenance of a jag. what are you driving now? if banks won't approve you there is a reason. how much do you have to put down?
