First thing make sure your not driving in D put it in 4
Then install a cooler such an easy job....
Have an 06 auto (ex rental too), and haven't noticed any problems myself a bit nervous.

In a box with a filter too from SupercheapAuto half the problem there, with the cork seals if you of the 5 ltr fluid cans since the problem started, so the old fluid has long been flushed out to overdrive again while at cruising speeds....
