Had the rear gearbox mount replaced and a Steering rack bush kit fitted, which has transformed the feel, pulling off through the gears and tightened...

Then again, better safe than be an entirely different problem and I would advise taking your car in for a check.
Like a waste of time to bring your car in until the fix is available.
