I am looking to buy a '12 ctd 4x4 laramie auto & want to flat tow it behind my (large freightliner diesel) motorhome. i cant get a straight answer from the car salemen, they all say something different.
so, can i flat tow it or not?

So you would be pulling both....
On a side note if it is an auto trans and you were too pull the rear d/shaft it can be towed that way.
If it is an auto trans you cannot, the trans pump will not provide fluid if the motor shaft if it were me.

In the long run, i want my car to handle relatively well (keep up with base model budget is about $3500-$4000 for either motor, 727 auto for either, 3.91 gears....keep in mind both are complete.

Hi have had two faults which main fiat dealers and other so called auto electricians cant solve.First engine starts ok but engine light stays on followed by the heater coil light flashes on and off for about thirty seconds then goes off.

Thermo starter and third piston deactivation are in the same loom accross the front of the engine so maybe loom damaged should be easy... .
Think the all share an earth front left down and in front of the ecu that would be top of my list for investigation .
