For your AVI files, you might also look into VirtualDub 's RIFF time because I saw it appear when reviewing the .avi's through uLead.
Looking for is even present in the files.

Hi all.
I have a few .AVI format movies that I can only play on my computer.
Does anyone know where I can get a free program that will convert AVI to ISO so that I can burn to DVD for normal viewing?

You need AVI to DVD conversion, then you can build an ISO of your DVD of the avi by itself....
Re-ripping is a standard to CD/DVD images.
