The closest I think you can get in both places is to just walk around Shuk HaCarmel in Tel Aviv.
I can't speak at all about Tel Aviv, but as for Jerusalem, I really can't recall much street food.

Trying to get to Tel Aviv in May and the hotels are ridiculously overpriced. Got any advice? The Sheraton for three people is $348! That seems very high. The art hotel has rates but they are also high. Any advice?

Visited Tokyo and the hotels there were cheaper than hotels in tel aviv / jerusalem [2] we Aviv-based hotel wholesaler, to see what rates she can get for you.

What's the actual distance and/or travel time from Tel Aviv to Ramat Gan? I get dropped off from a trip in center Tel Aviv around 18.00 and have a show at Gamat Ran stadium at 20.00. Any problems???

You can take a boat ride from Jaffa or a boat ride from the Marina in Herzliya neither of which are on the bus route you mentioned .
