I'm a bit confused about whether there is any transport from TLV during Shabbat. Do sheruts run to Tel Aviv or only Jerusalem? If they do run to Tel Aviv, will they drop you at your hotel or only the seedy CBS? I could probably go to Jerusalem in a pinch...

Monday night you can take a train to Tel Aviv, they run every hour in the wee hours of the night take a sherut to J'lem, but you only option to Tel Aviv would be an expensive taxi.

I mean no offense by asking this as I know there a plentiful operators but does one stand out over the rest, in terms of most comprehensive paid day tour "or" half day tour of Jerusalem please? Would like to latch on to one of the paid group tours. Same...

When you get to Tel-Aviv you can take the Hop-On-Hop-Off tourist bus that loops around....and lets you check....
For a tour to Tel Aviv you can take a bus to that city easily from Jerusalem and take one of the walking for some.

They take about 14-16 pasangers approximately and ticket was 10 Euros pp for run to Jerusalem)
They stop at quite few places in Jerusalem for ppl to disembark..
