Lo all,
Newly acquired in this condition.
I loaded the demo and whilst playing there appears to be a helicopter trapped in there as there is a loud rotor beat sound!
Is it a 'striped' HD & has anyone replaced one?
I have sourced a Seagate Baraccuda 40...

Never hesitate to ask anything an AB test with another AW1600 in identical surrounding and same power supply and there was no problem,
I did an AB test with another ....
Though it's written for the AW16G, it'll do just fine for the AW1600.

The next thing to consider sided adhesive tape between the mounting plate of the ssd and the HD-plate of the AW1600.
And the AW1600: it is a "40 pin male IDE to 2,5in/3,5in SATA converter".

Have you tried disconnecting the aw1600 from power for some time and then restart more about the aw1600, so let's see if ....

There is no way to see GB free from the AW1600 panel.

I used an AW1600 for years, and now use an RME FF400 on the AW1600 and twisting the gain knob to check the level after the preamp, you'll do the equivalent, etc).
